(Jul 2008) I went east to college and never returned to Louisville, except for periodic vacations to visit family.

I have been married to the same woman for 40 years, worked at the same law firm for 37 years, and lived in the same house for 34 years.

Obviously, I have been very stable or very boring, or both! One of our daughters (Deborah) lives in Washington and is a public interest lawyer.  The other (Julia) lives in New York and is a publicist at Penguin-Putnam.

Phyllis and I love to spend time on the eastern shore of Maryland, and we also spend a month in New York City every year.

My athletic ability is just as mediocre as it was in high school, and is now limited primarily to golf (still not as good as Jon) and running.  I'm looking forward to seeing everyone!

(July 2013) I am still working pretty much full time as a lawyer, although I stepped down as Chairman of my law firm.  There is too much of interest going on in the world to stop quite yet.  Maybe in a couple of years.

I am still married to the same woman I married a year after getting out of college.  We had our 45th anniversary this year.  We have two grown daughters, one in D.C. and one in New York. Both are married, and we have an 8 month old grandson, as well as a 4 year old step-granddaughter.  They are both incredible, and we are looking forward with great joy to spending much time with them in the years ahead.  We did sell our house in the suburbs and moved downtown.  That has been really fun.  We also have a place on the eastern shore of Maryland, where we spend as much time as possible.

I am looking forward to seeing many classmates at the reunion.
