”Fifty years now, Where'd they go?

Fifty years, I don't know

Sit and I wonder sometimes, Where they've gone

And sometimes late at night, When I'm bathed in the firelight

The moon comes callin' a ghostly white, And I recall, I recall”

As that great Southern Poet, Johnny Winter, said: “I’m Still alive and well. I’m Still alive and well. Every now and then its kind of hard to  tell, but I’m still alive and well.”

After graduation, I attended WKU for a little over two years before  joining the Army in 1966. I served  three tours in the Republic of Vietnam as a Military Advisor. After returning home I ended up in  Clarksville, TN where I attended Austin Peay State University. After receiving my degree I spent the next 25 odd years in the Restaurant Business.

Happily divorced. One daughter, Rebecca Blackburn Moose (31).  My passions include Music, tennis, working out, reading and Cardinal Sports. R U ready for some football?

It has been 25 years since I lost my best friends Jack Daniels and Evan Williams. That’s the reason I’m still alive and well.
