(Jun 30, 2008) I graduated from the University of Louisville in 1967, having spent several summers also attending the National University of Mexico. I married my husband Charles in 1969 and have had 39 wonderful years together.
I taught Spanish at Fairdale High, then “retired” to raise 4 super children. As the children grew up I went back into education directing a large preschool.
My husband and I have traveled extensively visiting Israel, Europe, Tahiti and most of Central America. Besides travel I have enjoyed gardening, Tai chi, weight-lifting, and fiber arts - And most of all, our 10 grandchildren. Gosh I love retirement!!!
