After graduation, I attended Virginia Tech and Western Kentucky University. In 1968 I was drafted by the U.S. Army and served in the artillery with the 1st Cav in Vietnam. For 29 years I was employed at Philip Morris as a management section supervisor and have been retired for 15 years.
I am married to Cheryl Sanders, a retired teacher from Louisville. Our son Bill is a UK graduate in architecture and resides in Louisville. Playing golf, traveling and spending leisure time on the Gulf Coast of Alabama are my current pastimes.
