After graduating from Seneca, I went to business school and in 1966 married my high-school sweetheart, Jerry Koloms. We lived on Minot AFB, ND and Louisville, KY. After 35 years of marriage, Jerry passed away suddenly in May 2001.
I remarried in February 2008, to Gary Tarbis. Our family has grown, my son, Scott (Louisville) – married with 3 children (Oliver (7) Sophia (5) and Ellie (3); a daughter, Karen (Stafford, VA)– married-no children, 3 Tarbis children inherited with marriage, Evan and Louis Tarbis and one stepdaughter, Kimberly.
I worked as a secretary/legal assistant for the United States Attorney’s Office in Louisville; retired January 31, 2008. In 2010, started working again for the company Jerry had started before he passed away - our son is now running the business. Someday I hope to retire again, but I am not ready to go that route just yet. Hobby: Needlepoint and reading.
