I majored in English at U of Ky.,and worked at Old Faithful in Yellowstone
Park, in the summer. After my studies were completed, I married and moved to Rochester, New York. There my son Greg, and daughter Sara, were born. In 1978, the family moved to Columbus, Ohio. I have been here 30 years now.
I taught International and American regional cooking, as well as did catering. I had my dream job as Program Director for the International Visitors Council of Columbus. Having already been fortunate to travel the world a great deal, it allowed me to also travel vicariously on a daily basis!
My son now works for his father’s company, developing computer software. My daughter is the Director of Sourcing, for corporate Abercrombie & Fitch. She also travels the world for her work.
I have a bright and delightful 8 yr. old grandson. My passion is still traveling, especially if I can do a little kayaking. I have paddled in such places as Alaska, the Bay of Fundy, Key West, and many lovely waters in between.
