Never having been much of a student, I quit UK in my junior year to move to NYC, where I lived for 39 years. I was a Typographer there for 23 years, then ran my own home-based graphic design/typesetting business for 8 years. I finally returned to college at age 50, earning a degree in Corporate Communications, and graduating with a 3.97 GPA! It was truly one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life.
Divorced after nearly 30 years of marriage, I then worked at a private country club in New Jersey as the buyer of the clothes in the golf shop. Not much money, but loads of fun and I was able to play golf at a beautiful course.
Love to travel, and have been to London, Prague, Budapest, Amalfi Coast, Italy, Sonoma County, CA, and the best trip ever—a river cruise from Paris to Normandy in the fall of 2013.
I bought a house in PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, Florida, in 2013, and moved there full-time in October 2017 with my long-term partner, Scott Barnaby.
